HOW LIGHT THERAPY WORKS
Photizo uses red light at 633 nm and near-infrared light at 850 nm. These wavelengths are used in photobiomodulation: the interaction of light with cellular processes involved in energy production, circulation and tissue recovery.

What is Vitalight, and what is Photizo?
Vitalight is an official distributor of Photizo products. Photizo is a range of red and near-infrared light therapy devices designed for use across human and animal care.
Which Photizo models are available?
Pain Relief — for chronic pain and stiffness.
Sport — for non-chronic injury-related pain and recovery.
Skincare — for wounds and targeted skin treatment.
Vetcare — designed for use on animals.
Flexible LED Pads and the Photizo therapy blanket are also available for larger treatment areas.
Are Photizo devices CE marked?
Photizo devices sold by Vitalight are CE marked for their specified intended uses. The intended application differs by model, so check the individual product page when choosing your device.
How is Photizo different from other red-light products?
The handheld Photizo devices use fixed red and near-infrared wavelengths and pre-programmed treatment doses. Each model is designed around a specific intended application rather than using one general programme for every purpose.
USING PHOTIZO & SAFETY
How often should I use my device?
Treatment frequency depends on the device and the condition being treated. Follow the protocol supplied with your Photizo rather than using one schedule for every application. Avoid increasing treatment frequency simply because you do not see an immediate change.
How long does each treatment take?
Pain Relief delivers a 41-second programmed dose per treatment point, Sport and Vetcare 31 seconds, and Skincare 16 seconds. Flexible pads use longer timed treatment sessions depending on the selected setting.
Are there situations where Photizo should not be used?
Yes. Always read the instructions supplied with your device. Photizo guidance includes precautions around the eyes, suspected cancerous areas, pregnancy and over-treatment. Speak to your healthcare professional or vet if you are unsure whether treatment is appropriate.
What about pacemakers, implants or other medical devices?
If you have a pacemaker, implanted electronic medical device or another condition that may affect suitability, speak to your healthcare professional before beginning treatment.
How soon should I expect a result?
Response varies from person to person and depends on the condition being treated. Some people notice a change relatively quickly, while others may need longer or may not experience a noticeable benefit. Follow the recommended protocol rather than increasing the dose.
How should I clean my Photizo?
Follow the cleaning instructions supplied with your device. Do not immerse the handheld unit in water. If the treatment head has been used against intact skin, clean it appropriately before the next user.
CHOOSING THE RIGHT DEVICE
What is the difference between Pain Relief and Sport?
Photizo Pain Relief is designed for chronic pain usually associated with an underlying condition. Photizo Sport is intended for non-chronic, injury-related pain associated with sport, exercise and activity.
Can I use one Photizo for everything?
The underlying light technology is related, but each Photizo model has its own intended use and treatment programme. For best results, choose the device designed for the application you want to treat.

What warranty is provided?
Photizo handheld devices are backed by a 2-year guarantee. Warranty periods can differ for larger accessories such as flexible LED pads, so check the individual product page for the applicable warranty.
What is your return policy?
Vitalight offers a 14-day return period, subject to the conditions in our returns policy. Products should be returned in the required condition and packaging.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are normally dispatched the same or next business day. Once dispatched, delivery typically takes around 2–4 business days, although courier times can vary.
Where do you currently ship?

Can Photizo be used alongside other treatment?
Photizo is commonly used as an adjunct to wider treatment and care plans. It should not be used as a reason to stop or alter prescribed medication or treatment without advice from the relevant healthcare professional or vet.
