Red light therapy for your animal
It started with Murphy.
Vitalight started with a dog. Murphy is Leon and Gráinne's senior dog. Arthritis had set in and he was slowing down. His walkies were getting shorter and slower, his mornings stiffer, and his medication list was getting longer.
Then they came across Photizo, a hand-held red light therapy device used to treat animals all over the world, and started using it on Murphy at home, with their vet's agreement. With consistent use over the next few weeks they watched their old dog get more comfortable and start to move more freely. The walkies got longer again. Anything that changed about his treatment, they changed with their vet, never on their own.
That is where Vitalight began. Two people who had seen how the right device had given their best friend a much improved quality of life, and who wanted to share the benefits with other Irish pet owners.
It is not a magic cure. It needs consistent use and it works alongside your vet's recommended treatment, not instead of it. But we saw the remarkable benefits ourselves on our boy Murphy, and we hope you will too.

Decades of research behind the light
Photobiomodulation, often called red and near-infrared light therapy, has been studied for decades across human and veterinary medicine. Researchers continue to investigate its effects on pain, inflammation, tissue recovery and rehabilitation, with evidence supporting some applications more strongly than others. Today, it is used by veterinary and rehabilitation professionals around the world as a non-invasive adjunct to care.
What good therapy needs, and how Photizo measures up
Light therapy comes down to a few measurable things. Here is what matters, and how Photizo Vetcare does on each.

Photizo Vetcare
A cordless, single-button device for dogs, cats and horses. Point it at the spot, press once, and it does the rest.
The device Mary Farrell uses in her own work (see below).
Small enough to go anywhere
Photizo Vetcare is cordless and pocket-sized. It pops into a handbag, a gym bag or the tack room, so you can use it on the sofa at home, out at the yard, or on the road. One button, a few seconds on each spot, nothing to set up. The point is simple: more comfortable days, and more of the good ones together.
Mary uses it in her own practice
From family vets and therapists to Dublin Zoo, professionals across Ireland reach for Photizo, and so do thousands of owners at home.
